View From The Top Of The World (AKA Dubai)
The United Arab Emirates and in particular Abu Dhabi and Dubai are some of the most exciting places around at the moment because of the speed of development over there and the sheer ridiculousness of the architecture. If you are going to build lots of new skyscrapers then obviously you have to go big. Really big!
The Burj Dubai is an example of this overblown style that UAE has and is the tallest man made structure ever made going up an incredible 2,684 ft! This video of a man at the top of the spire shows just how incredible that is with even the biggest buildings next to it looking tiny in comparison.
I wonder if the flights to Dubai go anywhere near it when they come in to land? Can you imagine looking out the window on the top floor and seeing a jumbo jet fly past you!
It isn’t just massive buildings in Dubai though that are making The United Arab Emirates a talking point, the recent success of the newly created Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this year has put Abu Dhabi firmly on the map for most F1 fans. It proved to be a great venue for the last race of the season and I would imagine next year it will be bigger and better than ever.
