Troops In Haiti Begin To Move Out

Haiti Troops

It’s been several months since the horrific Haiti Earthquake and the subsequent stationing of 20,000+ U.S. troops but there is a shiny bright new light at the end of the tunnel as nearly all of the troops will start moving out of the area and one would assume this means that Haiti is sufficiently back on its feet! This is excellent news and is a world away from what people were saying when the troops first moved in with some saying that they were probably there to stay now with Haiti becoming the unofficial 51st state after the disaster.

The donations given by people all around the world was amazing and gives us all hope that human beings can be good people when it is called upon for the most part. All of the Charities joined together as well and all the money collected went to one main appeal charity so that as much as possible could go to those who needed it and not to pay for admin costs and the like.

So here’s hoping that Haiti can rebuild itself bigger and better than before and it looks like they are off to a good start!
