Tony Hawk – Ride
I’ve just been reading about the New Tony Hawk game that has recently gone on sale in America and I think it looks like the BEST THING EVER! When Skate came out the old Tony Hawk games took a bit of a beating as everyone clambered to say how amazing and innovative the game was, personally I could not do the whole flicky thing to ollie at all and therefore hated that game. That’s why I hate most games to be honest, if I can’t play it (and that means most games…) I dont like it! haha!
The New Tony Hawks game though which will be out on, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii has gone way further with how you control the game. Instead of flicking buttons and using a controller the whole game will be played stood on an actual skateboard deck!
I love the look of that and I really want to have a go at it, I haven’t skated in years and last time I tried I ended up on my ass pretty quickly, so I wonder what it will actually be like in realism terms? Maybe not that good but still miles ahead of anything else I have seen around at the moment.
I cannot wait to get the old PS3 fired up and start grinding some gnarly rails, dude! SWEET!
