Sundays London Marathon
So the Marathon has all finished and even the slowest runner has finished by now (I would hope anyway!) one guy I know ran a very impressive 3 hours 41 minutes. An amazing time for someone who as soon as he passed the finish line had a beer and fag waiting!
This means now if you want to run the 2011 London marathon you have just under a year to sort yourself out, get sponsored and raise as much money as possible for charity. Oh and you might want to train as well, apparently it’s not just a walk in the park.
36,000 people took part in the Marathon this year and several records were broken including one by Princess Beatrice who helped break the record for the highest number of interlinked runners to finish the race. It’s amazing how many people love to do the marathon dressed up and in effect make it much tougher for themselves!
