Skype On My Phone
I use Skype a lot at work but have yet to use it much at home, I installed it and set it up but then realised I had no friends. So I quit the program and haven’t thought much about it, until recently, when I kept on seeing adverts for it on the iPhone.
So now I am also a proud owner, erm well as proud as you can be for this sort of thing anyway, of Skype mobile. And once again I havent actually used it but the app was free and I am a sucker for free apps. Anyway it seems to work pretty well for the few times I have used it for work skype-ing, I just need to try and convice everyone I know to get off the frankly awful facebook chat and get skype instead. Now that most people have mobile broadband and 3G on their phones it would be a lot better for IM instead of txt messaging and it would be free (as long as you have a free internet contract for your phone).
I have heard that you can get windows live messenger mobile, but I haven’t been on MSN messenger for quite a while and everyone seems to have vacated from that IM service, hopefully though people will now start to use Skype a bit more. Or at least any other service that isn’t Facebook chat!
