Sexy Apps
While I was reading about the launch of Bing on the iPhone I came across a news story complaining about ‘Sexy iPhone apps’ being pitched at children and how outraged everyone is at Apple for letting this happen.
I think I must be missing something, its not targeted at kids, it just says rated 12 and up and its women in bikinis and lingerie. Since when has that been illegal for 12 years olds to look at? If the kids out there are getting there kicks by looking at women in lingerie then surely thats better than them searching for extremely easy to find and extremely graphic pornography? Do these people who are complaining switch off the TV when someone is in a bikini or lingerie in a primetime soap? Only yesterday I was watching Hollyoaks (it just happened to be on….) when one of the characters was prancing around in lingerie and this was at 6.30 on a programme aimed at teenagers! I wonder if they will come under the same scrutiny?
I sometimes forget that there are some very strange people out there who seem to oppose and complain about anything, which I imagine is purely from boredom because they have to turn off the TV at 3pm in case they see a bit of cleavage!
The story came from some australian site news.com.au
