Photographer vs Predator

This is a really quite lovely story about a team of documentary makers who were filming about global climate change and its impacts on wildlife in Antarctica and to find out some more and get as many pictures as possible of the quite deadly Leopard Seals that live in the area.

They soon saw one of the largest Leopard Seals that the group had ever seen and decided to get into the water to try and get some pictures. However it spotted the photographer, Paul Nicklen, and then things got a bit worrying for the team…

I feel slightly ashamed of myself for being all cutesy about this but how amazing is that! As a kid I always wanted to be some kind of charity worker for Greenpeace or a documentary photographer and things like this make me wonder how I ended up where I am now. 8 year old me would be highly disappointed.
