This is one of the greatest things I have read in ages, according to the NZherald a shark managed to give another shark a DIY caesarean section to save the lives of the little baby sharks.

The story says that staff did not know the shark was pregnant and were ‘dubious’ when visitors tried to tell them what was happening, fearing the sharks were just fighting instead and one had bitten another one.

The aquarist (that doesn’t even sound like a proper word!) Fiona Davies said

“it was common for sharks to take chunks out of each other, even in the wild, but she had never heard of anything like this”"It had to bite a certain part to let them out and do it without killing them [the babies] or her [the mother].”

Now its strange because it seems that sharks are getting a bit intelligent and I always thought it was going to be the dolphins that took over the world!

Modern Warfare 2 is getting tons of press coverage at the moment! Normally game releases are pretty quiet affairs within the mainstream news and media but everything is going mad for Modern Warfare. It is a top trending topic on Twitter under the terms ‘Modern Warfare 2′ and ‘MW2′ and it has been in the news constantly because of complaints about the game and even articles talking about the pricing of the game in different shops!

Whether or not all the fuss is worth In have yet to find out but a very excited colleague did run off to buy one earlier so I might try and have a go on his.

The game is out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC although there is a DS version called Modern Warfare: Mobilized, so whatever you use to play games you should be able to find it, well unless you are a Mac user of course…
