One of my favourite films of all time has got to be Vanishing Point and I watched it again the other day, I now have the urge to up sticks and take off on a manic road trip across the USA. Not sure if I could hack doing the Colorado to San Francisco thing by myself but I would love to get a group of mates and just see the sites and sounds of America in a proper old skool muscle car. I hopefully wouldn’t die at the end either….
If you haven’t seen the film yet, have a little look at the trailer and then go and buy it from somewhere, its probably in the bargain bins of most places!
So I have the plan, drive from somewhere to erm, somewhere across America and I’m fairly sure I could convince/kidnap some of my friends to come with me, now all I need is a Dodge Challenger. Time to look up car hire in the USA and try to find a 1970 white Challenger!
Michael Jackson’s children really don’t have a chance of turning out normal, first off they are the child of Michael Jackson, which is bad enough in itself but then they basically become orphans until eventually LaToya Jackson, who never really had a great life herself, decides she needs to buy them a Christmas gift from ‘Fredericks of Hollywood’. What is so bad about that you ask? Well Fredericks is a famous LA lingerie shop!
Miss Jackson (I’m sorry Miss Jackson I am actually for real…) was spotted out shopping and when asked who she was buying gifts for she said “for the children”
Please I beg of you LaToya, keep the lingerie for yourself, the kids are screwed up enough as it is! Buy something normal like a nice teddy bear or some Christmas hampers full off sweets and dolls and normal child things! A bunch of flowers would be a better gift and flowers in general are a sucky gift for anyone under the age of 30! (…or a wife or girlfriend, they love flowers)
