Its A Gold Rush All Over These Parts
According to this post in the Washington Times, California is experiencing a modern day gold rush! It must be like the 1850′s all over again. Because of the bad times we are living in now with the economy it seems people are thinking what did we all do last time there was a depression? Gold mining of course! So individuals, couples and even families have packed up there lives into Winnebago’s and vans and scooted off to the golden hills for greener (or should that be golder) pastures.
It doesn’t really seem like a viable way too actually live but it does seem great fun, I would love to get into it properly and start looking like Indiana Jones, I dont think I would be able to stop at just panning though I would have to start doing dangerous missions and imagine I was in a PS3 game. So who’s up for it? I’m going to get some vans for me and a TV crew and start a new reality show based on my new life as a moder day golddigger!
P.S. I’m really glad I managed to get through this whole article without saying ‘Yeehaw’ and ‘rooting tooting’
