Furni Watches

About a month ago a new limited edition Furni watch came out, which is a collaboration with clubmumble.com. Its called, the rather long winded, Furnigraphmumbletronic and its based on the old 80′s style casio watches (*cough* it was actually released in ’91…) and it is exactly what I needed to replace my Nixon Cannon that I’m wrecking by wearing everyday and riding in. It was a bargain as well being only $25 which including postage meant it was a smidge over £18 (I love exchange rates!)

Furni are a cool little design company that make some proper random stuff, like a wooden skype phone or a standalone magazine rack. They are based in Canada and seem to be a pretty ethical company. The watch I just bought even donates a portion of the sale to the contributor campaign, which is a charity that is trying to allow anyone the opportunity to get a skateboard and improve there lives and give them a chance to find new friends and a better quality of life.

This got me thinking wether I was doing enough for charity and if I was really doing my bit? I normally try to give donations if I have some spare change but I know I could do a lot better! Maybe I could get to the point where everything I own and wear is fairtrade or ethical, even down to my pants! Speaking of pants have some gratuitous shots of women in organic lingerie!

Organic and fairtrade doesn’t mean you have to look like dirty and unwashed! British company Green Knickers will sell you the perfect ethical gift to give to a loved one and it will even arrive pre wrapped in a fair trade recycled gift box! a mega bonus if you are as lazy as me!

You still have to get your own flowers though! Now all I have to do is find myself a girlfriend to get some for, might be a bit weird giving gifts to random women at the bus stop. Looking for fairtrade lingerie online is easily the best way to try and be a more ethical person!
