Another Reason To Hate Manbags
In what has to be one of the greatest headlines of the week the Daily Mail is warning metrosexual men about the dangers of man bags.
Running with the title “Metrosexual men ‘are at risk of serious back injuries’ thanks to their man bags” the Daily Mail then goes on to explain how carrying a bag over one shoulder could give you serious back injury problems. Research from the British Chiropractic Association has shown that men are carrying to many life essentials these days and the new trend for one shoulder man bags, which has been fashionable since metrosexual celebrities like David Beckham and Robert Downey Jr started using them.
With more and more technology and gadgets being essential everyday use a man bag is starting to weight a lot more than it ever should and a BCA study has found that the average bag weighs up to 6.2kgs and that is putting a strain on men and I’m sure man bag manufacturers will have to do something to allow the weight to be spread out or put warnings against overloading the bags otherwise there could be a sharp rise in back injury claims against them.
